Vertientes, Dec 2.- The Temporary Work Group met in Vertientes, with the aim of analyzing the daily activities carried out by the entities and companies in the territory.
The meeting was chaired by the Mayor of the municipality, Jesús Alonso García, who urged efficient work in the provision of services to the people and insisted on the importance of guaranteeing stability in communication, in order to ensure the execution of actions with promptness and efficiency.
During the meeting, the situation in the country with the deficit of medicines was analyzed and the need to use traditional natural medicine as an alternative to counteract some diseases and ailments was reported.
Similarly, it was learned that the municipality continues to confront the overvaluation of prices, especially in the non-state sector; enforcing resolution number 302 of the Ministry of Finance and Prices; which includes the amounts established for the products of all economic activities, evidencing an understanding and understanding on the part of the local self-employed.
It was also learned that the territory reports a positive imported case for the SARS-Cov-2 virus, so far with three direct contacts to whom all the relevant health protocols are applied, pending the results of the PCR analysis.
Another issue analyzed was the preparation for the sugar harvest, which is about to begin, with the involvement of the two industries in the territory, the central Panama and Batalla de las Guásimas; for which all the food supplies and attention to man are assured.
